I will tell you right now that I do not agree with any of these pictures, whatsoever. I have nothing personal against the original creator or poster, but there is some flawed thinking in these pictures. If this isn’t a fine example of Special Snowflake Syndrome, I don’t know what is.

What makes you so special because of these things? What gives you implied superiority over other women and girls that you feel entitled to call those different than you the “normal” girls? Many of you get so angry and frustrated because you’re alienated at school by your peers. Um, then what are you doing exactly?

Is it so wrong that I think about both of these things or that I don’t do what the “other girl” does? Seriously, sometimes I think you all need to think about what you post and stop being so full of yourselves. Call me a “faggot” and “butthurt” all you please, but just look at your choices and try to stop being so hypocritical.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

^^

i honestly see nothing wrong with them. i dont find it hipocritical at all. i may be biased, and i’ll be the first to admit that.

But i didnt think of myself as superior when i read these things. i thought: hawaii was fun. but dude, concerts rule.

or, wait, who’s the chick again? Rihanna right?

or thank god i got the ray gun already, now i can focus on that ipod.

i didnt think i was better, i thought… it was me.

It is not specifically said, but it is implied. The definition of normal is usually looked down upon because the normal person is “mundane”, “conforming”, and “typical.” You’re putting yourself away from those “normal” girls and glorifying it when in reality there is nothing to glorify. What annoys me more is the fact that (as said before) so many My Chemical Romance fans hate being alienated for what they like yet they are doing the exact same thing here.

Do you really need to put it in this context? Can’t you just say, “I like My Chemical Romance”? Is it really that big a deal to compare yourself to what other girls like?
